Gentlemens Dress Code for the Races

The J & B Met is coming up in a about a week and for men it’s slightly trickier – the weather’s warmer so wearing a suit has its challenges, but casual is definitely not an option.

The Met is not only a highlight of the social calendar but is steeped in tradition, which means if you’re at the track or a function, certain dress standards apply. For men if you’re heading to the Met this year, this includes a shirt and trousers with dress shoes and the choice of either or both a jacket and tie. If you’re going sans tie, a pocket square is a nice touch.

Mis-matched suit separates are a great option for men who want to be creative. A bright coloured chino and different coloured blazer – it’s a great look.

Men, look no further, Fabiani is your go to brand, and if you lucky you can still catch a few items on sale.
