Things I Learned this Year

This last month of the year is always there to reflect on the previous months and think about what you learned. Of course, you can do this every moment of the year also. For me, 2015 was good and I had several ups and actually a few challenges that made me wiser. In the end, whatever happens, we all learn from it and one things for sure, life goes on. So here are some things I learned this year.

WHAT I LEARNED THIS YEAR

LET GO…
Learning how to let go from all things, that doesn't serve your lifes calling. Let people and feelings go and don’t be stuck in things that don’t matter. This makes me live more in the moment, don’t worry that much and be much happier in the end. Of course, I had some ‘down’ days but this was only for a short moment and I always try to focus on something more important. Focus on the right stuff instead of the ones that don’t give the right positive energy back.

TRAVELING IS SO IMPORTANT
From Cape Town to Dubai, were so amazing and made really an impact. Although I have been to the USA in 2007. Again, I came to the conclusion traveling gives so much more back than money can buy. These are some things that keeps my mind going and I can’t wait to see what the future has to offer.

BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF
I learned this year to be just happy with the great things in life and not to be in doubt about less important things. It’s just a waste of time to live your life with too many energy draining thoughts.

ACTIVE LIFESTYLE
I still have a long road to go and I’m still not there where I want to be. But mentally and physically I am ready to take my fitness and wellbeing to another level and I can’t wait to start working out more this year. Because, feeling good in my body is the main thing.

LIVE IN THE MOMENT
This year I really tried to live more in the moment and appreciate the little things in life. Life can go so fast and can be over in a blink of an eye. The last thing I want is coming to the realisation I haven’t lived my life to the fullest. Be happy, live now and put your trust in God!
