I recently visited the Amani Spa at the Radisson Blu Hotel in V & A Waterfront. I was welcomed by the spa practitioner and led to the gentle sounds of the fountains by the poolside providing a soothing environment, as did the lighting and overall eco-chic design of the spa. I completed a client form knew the hotel because I've been to the spa before and I was very excited to be back.
I was handed a new client form which I had to complete. Following reserved my food which I would enjoy for lunch.
I was directed to the locker room and changed into a comfy robe and sat in the waiting room. My therapist came to get me and Way I went intothe Amani Journey room where I hadthe Slimming Detox Journey, it's a specialised detox body polish, wrap & slimming massage, it’s value is R1675 for 2 hours, and honestly it was amazing and really relaxing. Still part of the journey I went into the steam room where I sat for about 10 minutes until the shower came on.. my queue to wash off the mud. My skin was all soft afterwards.
Following the detox, I went to the treatment room where I had my 60 minute Babor signature facial valued at R570.
Last I went into the relaxation room where the heated pool is. The secret of the pool is if you spend 20 minutes in it, it's equivalent to 8 hours sleep. I got to spend some time here as I waited for my meal to arrive. We then finally ended this perfect spa day with a 1.5 hour full body massage, which is part of the detox journey, but I chose to have it last.
